Max Verstappen’s Desert Revival
Share
The neon lights of Las Vegas still seemed to shine in favor of Max Verstappen,he’d carved through the Las Vegas Strip like a man possessed taking a victory that few had predicted after a turbulent first half of the season and a shocking double DQ for the Mclaren team Max looked back in elite form. The win hadn’t just been a triumph it felt like a message.
In Vegas he had been relentless. Every corner, every straight, every risky overtake seemed like a piece of the old Verstappen cracking through the shell of a difficult year. When he crossed the line under the glow of casino billboards, the roar wasn’t just for a win it was for a resurgence. Max is currently tied in 2nd place with Oscar Piastri at 366 points. Trailing Lando Norris at 390 points.
There are two rounds left Qatar which has both a Sprint and a full GP and then Abu Dhabi. The maximum points left on the board are 33 in Qatar 8 for sprint win + 25 for GP win + 25 in Abu Dhabi = 58 points up for grabs in total. If Verstappen wins both the sprint and GP in Qatar he will head into Abu Dhabi with a shot to win his 5th world championship.
