2026 Winter Classic Jerseys Released

The NHL and Fanatics have officially revealed the uniforms for the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic, featuring the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers. The game is set for January 2, 2026, at loanDepot park in Miami, marking the first outdoor NHL game ever played in Florida.
Florida’s jersey leans heavily into the state’s hockey heritage and military history. The uniform brings back the classic “leaping panther” crest, crafted with vintage-style felt and chain stitching inspired by early 20th-century jersey construction. Decorative chevron-style stitching nods to South Florida’s deep military ties. On the back hem loop, the Panthers added a subtle silhouette of their iconic rat, paying tribute to the team tradition made famous during the 1996 playoff run and revived in recent years.
The Rangers’ sweater is built to complement their ongoing Centennial uniform program, celebrating the franchise’s 100th anniversary. The design features a vintage off-white base with “New York” diagonally across the chest, accented by bold, oversized striping mirroring the club’s Centennial palette. A red apple shoulder patch—complete with “NYR” embroidered inside—adds a classic New York touch and references a similar emblem used during the team’s Centennial reveal.
Fans can purchase both jerseys and additional Winter Classic merchandise beginning November 20 at 10 a.m. ET, available through the Fanatics network, NHLShop.com, and team stores for both Florida and New York.
This Winter Classic highlights a milestone moment for hockey in the Sunshine State. Not only will it be the first outdoor NHL game in Florida, but it also features a Panthers team entering the season as back-to-back Stanley Cup champions, and a Rangers squad celebrating 100 years of franchise history. The event also comes as part of the league’s broader push into warm-weather markets, including additional outdoor games announced for Miami and Tampa next season.
